A healthy lifestyle can be as sweet as candy!

Weekend Moon Juice

What a whirlwind of a week it has been! From school, to work, and a little blogging here and there I can’t believe it’s already the weekend! (Seriously, when did that happen?!) As I was falling asleep last night I received some UBER EXCITING NEWS that I just can’t wait to share with you all, and when I woke up I found that I had reached over 1,000 followers on my Facebook! Talk about starting the weekend off right! So it is only fair that I take the time to express how much each and every one of you mean to me. I started blogging just over five weeks ago and I never anticipated all of the incredible support and love! Having you guys as a foundation has allowed me to keep motivated and focused on my goals ahead. You all give me meaning and a purpose to keep challenging myself, to keep sharing what I know, and what I discover along the way. I have a long road ahead, and a big vision for what is in store (for FitCandy and for myself), but I am so grateful for you all to be on this journey with me!

Today I ventured over to Venice to hit a spot I have been dying to try, Moon Juice! I have to say it did not disappoint! The store is small, but I spent a good amount of time looking through all the deliciousness they have to offer, because everything LOOKED SOOOOO GOOD. The best part is, everything is completely organic, unprocessed, and clean! I settled for 1 juice, the cucumber/pineapple/jalepeno because I was intrigued by that flavor combo, and 2 almond milks; silver-strawberry and walnut-macuna. I cracked a little of each bottle to try them all, (because yes, I am that impatient) and they are just as delicious as they are pretty! I also bought their rosemary-cheese crisps, made only with almond, nutritional yeast, green onion, and seasonings, and their Rainbow juice and seed crisp. Moon juice also has some pretty bomb looking sweets that I passed up but will definitely be back for, I guess i was just in a more savory mood. If you are in the LA area definitely check it out. I’ll be back there as soon as my juices in the fridge run out, which I am sure won’t be long!
