A healthy lifestyle can be as sweet as candy!

Sunrise Sugarbowl

I usually make smoothies once a day for a meal because they are easy to whip up and delicious to eat, this morning I guess I was feeling a bit more ambitious…This Sugarbowl takes just a little more time to create just because it’s more like two smoothies than one. But don’t let that keep from trying this yummy treat! It’s worth the wait.Image

Berry-Almond-Vanilla Layer

1 cup mixed berries

1/2 frozen banana

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

3/4 cup almond milk (I used homemade almond milk)

Mango-Pineapple Layer

1 cup mango

1/2 cup pineapple

1/2 frozen banana

3/4 cup almond milk

Start by making the berry layer, throw everything in the blender and blend until smooth. Pour berry smoothie into cup. Rinse out your blender so the color doesn’t mix with he mango layer. Next make the mango-pineapple layer, blend until smoothie and pour over berry layer. Top with fresh fruit and enjoy!
